>Building and Growing People

If project management is about systems, people management is about what makes those systems work.

I care deeply about people—how they grow, how they perform, and how they find their place in a team.

Over time, I’ve been involved in:

  • hiring

  • training

  • mentoring

  • evaluating performance

  • supporting growth

What I’ve learned is that people don’t grow by being managed. They grow by being given the right environment, the right challenges, and the right support.

I enjoy seeing that process happen.

There’s something meaningful about watching someone:

  • improve their skills

  • gain confidence

  • take on bigger responsibilities

For me, growing people is not separate from my own growth.

When the team grows, I grow with them.

My MBA also shaped how I think about organizations. I believe structure matters—a lot.

A strong organization is not dependent on individuals constantly pushing things forward. It should be designed to:

  • handle complexity

  • scale with workload

  • operate with a degree of autonomy

My role is to help build that structure, place the right people into it, and support them as they adapt and grow.
